South Bend Bears Girls High School Spring 2026 season registration

Season officially starts February 9th, preseason practices will begin mid January, days and times TBD.

•4 days a week practice,

•at least 15 games all within an hour or less

•3 play days (round robin style) on weekends

Registration for Spring 2026 HS boys lacrosse program. Students are eligible to play for South Bend if they attend any South Bend area school that does not have their own varsity lacrosse program (SJHS, Marian, Northridge, Penn, Elkhart, LaPorte, etc).

Bears Elite: Summer 2026 Registration

Bears Elite: Full Program Overview

The Bears will be offering a summer travel team for high school girls' lacrosse in 2026. (Running June 2026-July 2026) We will be offering programs open to girls in high school classes of 2027-2032 (i.e., students going into 6th-11th grade in fall of 2026). There are limited spots available. These programs are open to any Girls Lacrosse players in the Michiana area from any high school. Teams will compete in the High School JV and Varsity divisions in Tournaments. Middle schoolers should feel confident enough to compete at the high school level!

Teams Offered:

Both teams will experience the same exposure to recruiting education, quality coaching and positive team environment. The primary difference between teams is the tournaments and brackets within the tournament.

Recruiting Team: Tryout or film review necessary.

3-4 Tournaments, including recruiting tournaments with college coaches present.

Midwest Team: Open registration, first come first serve basis. Can register without tryout/film review.

The Goal: Accessible, fun and high-level lacrosse opportunity for all girls in the area that prepares athletes for college and the recruiting process.

History: Founded in 2022 the Bears Elite program took off with the first initial team. They have since grown making it to multiple championships each summer and winning the varsity bracket championship for the first time in Summer 2025!

Founders/ Coaches:

Isabella Montgomery

Current Bethel University Assistant Coach.
D2 playing experience, Former Director of Girls lacrosse 1st-12th grade.
Psychotherapist specializing in athlete and team mental health and well-being.

Zoe Montgomery

Current Goalie at Northern Michigan University.
Midwest All-American, American select, D1 playing experience, Certified Lax Ref.
Physical Education Major with Minor in Sociology with Athletic Training experience.

Additional Coaches:

We bring in guest and assistant coaches every summer. These have included additional athletes and coaches from ND, St. Mary's, Bethel as well as athletes currently playing in college from club to D1 level.
Exposure to a wide variety of perspectives, coaching and playing experience.
